Áradj, folyó, jöjj, a mennyből áradj,
mosd meg szívünk, tisztítsd meg ruhánkat!
Áradj, folyó, töltsd be testünk templomát,
  örök élet vize, áradj ránk!

Mert úgy várunk és kiáltunk,
szomjúságunk csillapítsd le, ó, Urunk!
Mint szarvas hűs forrásra,
jelenlétedre úgy kívánkozunk.

Tömlöcajtók nyíljanak meg,
s a gonoszság láncai lehulljanak,
az erőtlen Rád tekintsen,
s a beteg is mondja, hős vagyok!
