              Ó, duše, pomni lásky
na kříži zjevené
a z mysli nepusť nikdy
to tělo zbodené!
Ty, podrobená hříchu
zde žilas' ve strachu,
však v oběti té drahé
svou našlas útěchu.

A nyní zvěstuj spásu,
jež v Kristu zjevena
a rci, proč hlava svatá
tak byla zraněna,
proč vtělená ta láska
tak mřela v bolestech!
Jdi, pověz, že Syn Boží
to nesl hříchy všech.

A zkoumej srdce svoje,
zda k bratru, sestře lne?
Zda za ně v oběť dát se
jsi hotov upřímně?
Pak vezmi chléb i kalich,
smrt Páně vyznávej
a za věčný díl v Kristu
své díky Otci vzdej!
