                  Пусть вокруг ревут невзгоды,
    Веют ветры суеты,
// Пусть вокруг бушуют воды,
    Будь до смерти верен ты. //

    Посмотри: вокруг сраженья
    С силой смертной темноты.
// Всюду жертвы... В испытаньях,
    Будь до смерти верен ты. //

Посмотри: вокруг измены,
Час духовной дремоты,
// Ослабели церкви члены,
Будь до смерти верен ты. //

    Много в жизни искушенья,
    Много зла и пустоты.
// Посреди людских падений
    Будь до смерти верен ты. //
