              A plecat la drum Rebeca
Spre iubitul ei sortit
Împlinind o taină mare
Când trecea peste nisip.
Dorul ei se împlineşte
Pe Isac când l-a-ntâlnit
El i-a zis: "Bine-ai venit!"

Cor:File de istorii,
File de istorii
Aţi păstrat în voi
O veşnică comoară.
Dragoste curată,
Albă, nepătată,
Să rămâi curată
Şi-n aceştia doi.

Veacuri au trecut întruna
Dar iubirea n-a-ncetat
Este aceeaşi numai una
Un dor sfânt şi minunat.
O minune repetată
Pentru mii şi mii de miri
Care-au fost, care vor fi.

Cor:Se vor scrie-n glorii
File de istorii
C-aţi păstrat în voi
O veşnică comoară.
Dragoste curată,
Albă, nepătată
Să rămâi curată
Şi-n aceştia doi.
