              Ako tie hviezdičkyblednú a hasnú,
zrána keď na nebislnka jas vzplál,
podobne stratíš razkrásu tú časnú,
ostane len,čo si Kristovi dal.

  Kto dušu svojupre Krista stratí,
znášať vie pre nehobolesť i žiaľ,
Boh mu ju isteraz v nebesiach vráti,
  nezhynie to,čo si Kristovi dal.

Iný raz prevezmerúk tvojich prácu,
nebudeš roľu žať,v ktorú si sial.
Boh ti len za todá odmenu, plácu,
čo si tu do služiebKristových dal.

Len ten, kto ochotnepre svojho Pána
seba i život svojobetoval,
uvidí svetlo razvečného rána,
všetko tam nájde,čo Kristovi dal.
