              Aku jalan sendiri di malam gelap,
merenungkan hidup di dunia.
Aku ada di dalam ikatan dosa,
aku ingin lepas dari kuasanya.

  Hanya olehMu aku bebas lepas;
  hanya olehMu aku dis'lamatkan.
  Hanya olehMu aku bebas lepas,
  hanya olehMu aku dis'lamatkan.

Ada satu pengharapan sungguh pasti,
terpancar dariMu, ya Tuhanku.
PadaMu kuserahkan beban hidupku;
b'rikanlah kasihMu menyinariku.

  Hanya olehMu aku bebas lepas;
  hanya olehMu aku dis'lamatkan.
  Hanya olehMu aku bebas lepas,
  hanya olehMu aku dis'lamatkan.
