              Aký priateľ je náš Ježiš,
jak vysoko zvýšený!
On nás s Bohom svätým zmieril,
zastupuje v modlení.
Kto vypovie, kto vymerá,
koľký raj je stratený,
keď my k Nemu neuprieme
zreteľ vrúcnom modlení.

Keď sme žitia starosťami
skôr či neskôr zmorení,
hľadajme si u Ježiša
istú pomoc v modlení.
A keď priateľov stratíme
zotrvajúc v modlení,
ó, tu je nám Ježiš všetko:
Prorok, Kráľ, Kňaz zvýšený.
