Allah nə vəd etdisə, onu da yerinə yetirdi,
Öz sevimli, Müqəddəs Oğlunu
Günahlı yer üzünə göndərdi.

  Beytlehemdə, Davudun şəhərində,
  Yem təknəsində bir körpə doğuldu.
  Çobanlar sevinclə gəldilər,
  Bu körpəni görüb sevindilər.
Bu həmin İsa Məsihdir, bu Xilaskardır,
  Doğuluşuyla dünyaya sülh, qurtuluş gətirdi.
Bu həmin İsa Məsihdir, bu Xilaskardır ,
  Bu bizim İsamızdır, Xilaskarımızdır.

Göylərdən mələk yerə endi,
Çobanlara nur saçaraq belə dedi:
«Mən sizə şad xəbər gətirmişəm,
İnsanları sevindirəcəyəm.»
