Anjeli z neba ku vám sa zniesli
pastieri, pastieri,
aby ste dieťa Betlemské prví uzreli, uzreli.

Syn Boží slávny, jediný
leží v jasličkách,v jasličkách,
vykupiteľské dielo v Ňom Otec prichystal, prichystal.

Pastieri išli pozdraviť dieťa
nádherné, nádherné,
dary mu nesú do srdca pevne zavrené, zavrené.

Ježiša Krista oslavnou piesňou
vítajú,
Otcovi za dar nebeský chválu vzdávajú, vzdávajú.
