A sötétségben egy fény gyullad fel,
a halál völgyében az élet hangja szól.
Hatalmas szabadítót küldött hozzánk.
A seregek ura az örökkévaló.

Az uralkodás az ő vállán nyugszik
Békessége napról napra nő.
Megszabadított minden ellenségtől,
hogy félelem nélkül szolgáljuk Őt.

  A neve csodálatos Tanácsadó,
  erős Isten, örökkévaló.
  Békességünk, fejedelme,
Imánuel, az Úr nem hagy el.
