                Előjáték

Az egész Föld felett te vagy Úr s Király.
Tiéd a hűs patak, tiéd a napsugár.
Csak egyet kérek én, add meg nekem:
Legyen hát tiéd az életem!

Tiéd a gondolat, tiéd minden szó,
látom szépséged, Mindenható,
Te vagy, aki nekem mindennél többet ér,
legyen hát tiéd az életem!

  Jézus vezess, szorítsd két kezem,
  álmaim éjjelén, gyötrelmeimben.
Lényem felett te vagy Úr s Király,
  Legyen hát tiéd az életem!

  Vége:
  Legyen hát tiéd az életem!
  Legyen hát tiéd az életem!
  Legyen hát tiéd az életem!
