              Azon épül szilárd hitem,
Amit értem tett Istenem
Egyéb eloszlik, mint a hab
Krisztus örök kőszirt marad

  Aki bizalmat Benne vet
  Fövényre az nem épített
  Fövényre az nem épített

Habár e szent arc elfödött,
Kegyelme véle mindenütt.
Dúlhat vihar bármily nagyon,
E szirt fent tartja horgonyom.

A frigykötés a drága vér
Megóv akármi a veszély,
És hogyha minden szerte hull,
E kőszirt áll mozdítatlanul

Ha Jézus majd ítélni jő,
Ha szól a kürt, föl, föl elő!
Igazsága lesz majd nekem,
Díszöltönyöm és ékszerem.
