              1. Bůh nebesa opustil
a zakusil velikou bídu.
Jak člověk tu s námi žil,
by spasení přinesl lidu.

Ref.: Chce také být Spasitel tvůj,
tak navrať se ke svému Králi.
  On utiší zármutek tvůj,
  budeš zpívat Mu písně chvály.

2. Vše podstoupil kvůli nám,
to pro moje a tvoje hříchy,
on prožíval úzkost sám,
svět nepřijal jej z lidské pýchy.

3. On pro tebe nesl kříž,
svou smrtí ti svobodu vrátil.
Teď čeká, kdy uvěříš,
chce pokoj ti dát, jenž jsi ztratil.

4. Dnes žije tam v nebesích,
však přece se k nám lidem sklání.
Zve k sobě tě z výšin svých,
tak následuj jej bez přestání.

Ref.: Chce také být Spasitel tvůj,
tak navrať se ke svému Králi.
  On utiší zármutek tvůj,
  budeš zpívat Mu písně chvály.
