              Berkumandang di angkasa raya
sangkala sorgawai megah.
Bergembira menyambut Sang Raja
yang t'lah lahir dikandang sepi.

  Sorak, nyanyikanlah kidung indah,
  sujudlah menyembah Penebus.
  Sudah datang kedalam dunia.
  Sambutlah Raja Damai kekal!

Terkejutlah gembala dipadang
menyaksikankeagunganNya.
Bergegaslah mereka semua
memuliakan Sang Raja Damai.

  Sorak, nyanyikanlah kidung indah,
  sujudlah menyembah Penebus.
  Sudah datang kedalam dunia.
  Sambutlah Raja Damai kekal!

Bintang Timur terang gemerlapan
pada malam yang sunyi senyap.
Menunjukkan pada orang Majus
tempat lahir Sang Jurus'lamat.

  Sorak, nyanyikanlah kidung indah,
  sujudlah menyembah Penebus.
  Sudah datang kedalam dunia.
  Sambutlah Raja Damai kekal!

Ia turun dari sorga mulia,
lahir dalam kandang yang hina,
menghapus dosa umat manusia
kar'na kasihNya sungguh besar.

  Sorak, nyanyikanlah kidung indah,
  sujudlah menyembah Penebus.
  Sudah datang kedalam dunia.
  Sambutlah Raja Damai kekal!
