              Bir zamanlar günahda gəzirdim, inan,
Əlimdən tutub gətirdi məni İsam.
Onuntək mərhəmətli, sevimli birisi yox,
Onunçün sevirəm, mən Rəbbi hamıdan çox.

  Qürurlu olmağa qoymadı məni Rəbbim,
Mənim tək günahkarı necə də sevirmiş Rəbbim.

Sən çıxardın məni bu lənətli günah dünyasından,
Sənin Müqəddəs Adın qoruyur məni iblisin torundan.
Həqiqətən də, çox xoşbəxtəm, aldın məni qolların üzərinə,
Sevimli şagirdin tək istərəm başımı qoyum sinənə.
