              Bože večný, prosíme Ťa:
Daruj, zošli rosu z neba,
nech padá na zem vyschnutú
a dáva hojnú úrodu.

Všetky dary sú od Teba:
Daruj, zošli rosu z neba,
nech sa skončí suchoty čas
a dosť má chleba každý z nás.

Za čo poprosíme Teba -
Daruj, zošli rosu z neba!
- sľúbil si nám dať z milosti,
splň ten sľub, daj dážď z výsosti.

Aj Eliáš prosil Teba:
Daruj, zošli rosu z neba;
a prišiel dážď požehnaný,
dážď od Teba vyžiadaný.

Hoci nie sme hodní Teba
- Daruj, zošli rosu z neba -
nech je nám tá milosť daná
pre zásluhy Krista Pána.

Prosíme Ťa, daj, čo treba:
Daruj, zošli rosu z neba,
nech sa všetci potešíme
a vo viere utvrdíme.

Majúc, Bože, chlieb od Teba
- Daruj, vylej rosu z neba -
meno Tvoje nech slávime
a s vďakou Ťa velebíme.

Tak budeme sláviť Teba
za zoslanú rosu z neba,
Otče, Synu, Duchu Svätý,
Bože jedinej podstaty.
