              Božie slovo skúmaj verne,
denne rád ho otváraj,
pros o jeho pochopenie,
rady Pána prijímaj!

  Skúmaj písmo, Pán ti radí,
  Božie slovo, knihu kníh,
  pravdy spásne srdcom celým
  ber a konaj podľa nich!

Miluj, váž si slovo sväté,
hovorí v ňom Pán Boh sám,
cestou úzkou v tomto svete
On ťa vedie k nebesám.

Božím slovom sýť sa stále,
tých, čo blúdia, k nemu veď!
Pán ti v láske neskonalej
svoju tvár dá večne zrieť.
