              1. Byť stále blízko teba,
môj Pane, túžbu mám,
chcem ísť po tvojom boku
a nebyť nikdy sám.
Kiež smiem ťa lepšie poznať,
nad všetko mať ťa rád,
mať v tebe síl zdroj stály,
žiť podľa tvojich rád.

2. Chcem každú starosť vložiť
vždy do tvojich rúk len,
veď miluješ ma verne,
to cítim deň čo deň.
Chcem teba nasledovať
a tvoje meno ctiť,
ráč preto Duchom svojím
mňa hojne obdariť.

3. Mne pomôž pripraviť sa
na onen vzácny čas,
keď na zem prídeš v sláve,
náš drahý Pane, zas.
Ľud tvoj ťa bude vítať,
aj ja tam túžim stáť
a tvoju lásku chváliť,
česť chcem ti piesňou vzdať.
