                Choď, povedz o tom všetkým,
  cez rieky zakrič dolinám,
  choď, povedz o tom všetkým,
  že narodil sa Pán.

Keď pastieri v tej noci
si stáda strážili,
tu zaznel im hlas Boží
a jas ich ožiaril.

Na nebi jasná hviezda
sa v noci zjavila
a pastierom na cestu
za Pánom svietila.

Tam s pastiermi aj králi
za hviezdou kráčali
a so vzácnymi darmi
to dieťa vítali.
