              Chrétiens, peuple fidèle !
Ranimons notre ardeur,
Et redoublons de zèle
Pour notre Rédempteur.
Il vint vers nous du ciel :
Chantons dans nos cantiques
Les bontés magnifiques
De notre Emmanuel,
Les bontés magnifiques
De notre Emmanuel.

Vous, âmes affligées,
Accourez à ce Roi.
Vous serez soulagées,
L'invoquant avec foi.
Jésus-Christ, de son bras,
Protège ceux qu'il aime ;
Son cœur toujours le même,
Ne les délaisse pas
Son cœur toujours le même,
Ne les délaisse pas.

Jésus est notre Frère :
Implorons son secours ;
Au fort de la misère,
Il est notre recours.
Ses charitables soins
Soutiennent notre vie ;
Sa puissance infinie
Pourvoit à nos besoins.
Sa puissance infinie
Pourvoit à nos besoins.
