              Chvála Ti, Bože verný,
že podľa zasľúbení
Spasiteľa si nám dal,
v ľudskom tele Ho poslal.

Čo otcovia čakali
a proroci žiadali;
o čom Písmo svedčilo,
to sa slávne splnilo.

Vitaj, môj Pane, z neba,
s túžbou čakám na Teba,
príď aj ku mne, vzácny Hosť,
môjmu srdcu na radosť.

Vstúp do neho ako Kráľ,
by som sa Ti chrámom stal,
priprav ho a očisti,
nech je príbytkom čistým.

Potešuj ma v súžení,
keď je duch môj skľúčený;
v pochybnostiach sily daj,
vo viere ma zachovaj.

A keď slávne prídeš zas
súdiť svet v posledný čas,
nech Ti vyjdem v ústrety
a budem tam, kde si Ty.
