Comme ton souffle planait sur les eaux
Aux premiers jours du monde,
Comme la puissance est venue sur Marie
Plus doux que la colombe,
Comme tu guérissais tous ceux
Que touchait l'ombre de Pierre,
Saint-Esprit, vois mon désir.
Saint-Esprit, vois mon désir.
Viens et couvre-moi,
Viens et couvre-moi.

Fais de l'ombre de tes ailes
  Un manteau d'amour,
  Viens et couvre-moi,
Que ton ombre soit ma sécurité, ma force,
  Mon abri, ma joie.
  Viens et couvre-moi.
