              Kezdetben volt az élő Ige,
Az Atyának Egyszülöttje,
Hallottuk és láttuk Őt.
"Te vagy a szerelmes Fiam!"
"Legyen az Atya akarata!"
Csak állunk, s gyönyörködünk Benned.

  Csoda, csoda, csodaszép,
Dicső, dicsőséges vagy Te, vagy Te!

Aki látta, hitre jut:
A szenvedő szolga a királyunk.
Vádoltuk, mégis szeret.
Sebei által gyógyultunk,
Isten népe megújult.
Minden nemzet csodál Téged.

  Csoda, csoda, csodaszép,
Dicső, dicsőséges vagy Te, vagy Te!

Végy fel a tróntermedbe, hadd lássam szépséged, hadd lássam fenséged.

  Csoda, csoda, csodaszép,
Dicső, dicsőséges vagy Te, vagy Te!
