              1.Cu mult în urmă-n Betleem
Sfânta Biblie spune
Maria a născut un fiu
În seara de Crăciun
Şi mii de îngeri s-au unit
Cerul s-a înseninat.
Universul s-a umplut
De slavă şi cântări.

/ // Să-i cântăm cu toţii-n cor
Noul Rege s-a născut
Şi viaţă El ne-a dăruit
Si astãzi iar e Crăciun // /

2. Păstorii s-au înfricoșat
Cerul când a strălucit.
Și într-un gând au alergat
Către pruncul iubit.

3. Cu mult în urmă pe pământ,
O stea mare a răsărit.
Ea ne spune că ceru-ntreg
La noi s-a coborât!
