Spiegami, se puoi, cosa vuol dire
Nascere di nuovo o morire
Tu che l'hai seguito
A te l'avrà insegnato
Ho fame e sete di verità

La pioggia cadeva la sera
Cercai riparo
Entrando sentii quelle parole

"A che serve guadagnare il mondo
Se perdi l'eternità?
Insieme all'eternità
Perdi anche l'anima tua..."

Pian piano la via, la verità
La fame, la sete di Te Gesù
Da quel dì la mia vita cambiò
Gesù nel mio cuore restò
Prese cura di me, non mi lasciò
Da quel dì la mia vita cambiò!
