              Il est un pays bienheureux
Où les larmes sont inconnues ;
La foi le découvre à nos yeux,
Bien qu'il soit au-delà des nues.

  Dans ce doux avenir
  Bientôt Dieu va nous réunir.

Plus de péchés, plus de douleur ;
Entre nous et Dieu, plus de voiles !
De Christ reflétant la splendeur,
Nous luirons comme des étoiles.

  Dans ce doux avenir
  Bientôt Dieu va nous réunir.

Sur ce rivage fortuné,
Nos voix rediront les louanges
De Celui qui nous a donné
Une place au-dessus des anges.

  Dans ce doux avenir
  Bientôt Dieu va nous réunir.
