Dans le silence de la nuit,
Approchons de l'hôtellerie.
L'enfant dort auprès de Marie :
Entrons sans bruit,
Entrons sans bruit.

Aux lueurs d'un pâle flambeau,
Contemplons le Sauveur du monde :
Dans son humilité profonde,
Comme il est beau !
Comme il est beau !

Mages, bergers, accourez tous,
Et vous, peuples de toute race !
Par cet enfant, Dieu vous fait grâce :
Tous à genoux !
Tous à genoux !

Le ciel lui-même est étonné
Qu'un si grand amour ce révèle !
Portons-en partout la nouvelle :
Jésus est né !
Jésus est né.
