              De su trono Jesucristo
A sufrir aquí bajó,
Y clavado en cruz maldita,
Por mí, pecador, murió.

  Por salvarme su preciosa
  Sangre mi Redentor dio,
  Y su muerte dolorosa
  Toda mi culpa expió.

¡Cuánto el Salvador me quiere
Que penó por mi maldad!
¡Oh, mi Señor!, te bendigo,
Reconozco tu bondad.

¡Oh, Jesús!, fiel mi alma guarda,
Tú, que en vela estás por mí,
Y haz que en amor fervoroso
Viva yo siempre por ti.
