              1. Dnes vděčně chvalme Pána
v ten požehnaný čas,
že sobotního rána
zas vzešel nový jas.
Ty chvíle jsou jak vláha
pro zemi vyprahlou,
jak spánek plný blaha
pro duši znavenou.

2. Své díky přinášíme
za Boží lásky čin,
že z kříže přijmout smíme
dar odpuštění vin.
Tys, Pane, z lásky vroucí
náš úděl nesl rád
a život nevadnoucí
chceš všem nám darovat.

3. Jen Tobě, Pane, smíme
svou tíhu hříchu dát,
Ty odpustíš nám, víme,
a stále nás máš rád.
Nám dávej ze své síly,
slyš našich proseb hlas,
vždyť cestou k spásy cíli
jen Ty dovedeš nás.

4. Ty vydobyl jsi práva,
jež my jsme ztratili;
lid tvůj tě očekává,
náš Bože přemilý.
Ve Tvé jen přítomnosti
mír, pokoj nastává;
je konec nepravosti,
kde Tvůj Duch zůstává.
