              En mä aarteita etsi
enkä onnea maan,
mutta Jeesuksen löytää
on nyt toivoni vaan.
Elon kirjassa ovat
nimet lastesi Sun.
Sano, Jeesus, oi, siellä
nimi onko myös mun.

  Nimet autuaitten
  ovat kirjassa Sun.
  Sano, Jeesus, oi, siellä
  nimi onko myös mun.

Ovat syntini suuret
niin kuin
mainingit veen,
mutta uskaltaa tahdon
ristin lunastukseen.
Pyhä Raamatun sana
lausuu kuolematon:
veriruskeat synnit
Jeesus maksanut on.
