              Vers 1
Für den König, für den Herrn,
für ihn geben wir uns hin.
Seine Ehre, unser Ziel,
nichts bedeutet uns jemals so viel.
Für den König, für sein Reich,
alle Menschen sind hier gleich,
Lamm und Löwe sind vereint,
und das Licht der Gerechtigkeit scheint.

  Alle Ehre König Jesus,
unsre Herzen, sie fliegen dir zu.
  Wir erheben deinen Namen,
der allein wahre König bist du.

Für den König, für sein Schwert,
Wort das trifft und Wahrheit lehrt,
unsre Freiheit garantiert,
uns zum Schutz unsre Grenzen markiert.
Für den König, für sein Volk,
für die Heerschar, die ihm folgt,
ihm, der uns sein Leben gibt.
Lasst uns lieben, so wie er uns liebt.
