              Gözlerimi dağlara kaldırıyorum,
Kim bana yardım eder hep arıyorum.
Tek yardımcım, tesellim Mesih'tir bana.
Sevgi, sevinç, selamet verir dünyada.

Bu dünyanın zevkleri acıyla dolu,
Gelir, geçer çarçabuk; ölümdür sonu.

Aldatıcıdır para, mal, mülk, eğlence,
Sen biriktir kendine gökte hazine!

Kaldır gözlerin' sen de, bekle ümitle!
Kalbin dolar senin de büyük sevinçle!
