              Gecə yarısı səmada parladı bir Dan Ulduzu,
Bunu görən münəccimlər Beytlehemə yola düşdülər,
Yerdə doğulmuş Padşahı görmək üçün tələsdilər.
Beytlehemin çöllərində sürü otaran çobanlar
Göydə gur işıq saçan mələyi görüb çaşdılar;
Mələk söylədi:«Eşidin, doğuldu sizə Xilaskar.»

  Olanlardan bixəbər yer üzü hey yatırdı,
  Xəbərsizdi bu gecə baş verən möcüzədən.
  Bilmirdi ki, doğulub axurda, saman üstə
  Dünyanın günahını götürəcək bir körpə.

O gecənin şahidi tək orda olmaq istəyərdim,
Saman üstdə yatmış olan körpəni görmək istərdim.
Yer üzünə lütf bəxş edən Məsihi görmək istərdim,
Göydən endi Məsih.
