              Grâce, douce parole
Pour le cœur soucieux
Mot qui relève, qui console,
Et nous ouvre les cieux !
Grâce ! joyeux message
Que Christ nous apporta,
Et dont il a donné pour gage
Sa vie en Golgotha !

  Grâce, douce parole,
  Grâce, douce parole,
  Grâce, douce parole
  Qui nous ouvre les cieux.

Ah ! que ta grâce inonde
Mon cœur par toi joyeux !
Où trouver un mot qui réponde
Comme elle à tous mes vœux.
Comme un soleil, rayonne
Ta grâce sur mes jours ;
Elle est ma gloire et ma couronne,
Elle est mon seul secours !

  Grâce, douce parole,
  Grâce, douce parole,
  Grâce, douce parole
  Qui nous ouvre les cieux.
