              Hän kohta jo saapuvi,
Jeesuksemme.
Sen merkit niin
selvästi näyttää.
Nyt uskossa
taivaalle katselemme,
Hän milloinka sanansa täyttää.
Sun Ylkäsi saapuvi
kirkkaudessaan.
Sä morsian, nouse
ja valvo nyt vaan
ja kuntohon lamppusi laita.

Oi, silloinpa yön varjot
haihtuvat pois,
kun morsian Ylkänsä kohtaa.
Oi, jospa se päivä
jo koittanut ois.
Sen rusko jo taivaalla hohtaa.
Sun Ylkäsi saapuvi
kirkkaudessaan.
Sä morsian, nouse
ja valvo nyt vaan
ja kuntohon lamppusi laita.
