              1. Hle, nebe vzdává Bohu čest,
o slávě Tvůrce vypráví,
den hlásá noci stejnou zvěst:
Vše stvořil Bůh, Pán laskavý.
Jej chválí v písni radostné
i záře slunce den jak den.
To krásné nebe blankytné
i země má svůj původ v Něm.

2. Když v kapce rosy zazáří
nach červánků i slunce svit,
o moci Tvůrce hovoří,
chce jeho lásku vyjádřit.
Když stíny noci nastanou,
zem v záři luny smáčí tvář,
zas zní tou hloubkou závratnou:
Slyš, země, v Bohu původ máš!

3. Však člověk řeč tu neslyší,
jen vírou Tvůrce chápat smí,
Bůh touhu ducha utiší
a srdce náhle rozumí.
Tu k chvále té i svůj hlas dám:
Můj Bůh je láska úžasná,
své díky Pánu odevzdám,
vím, všechno v Bohu původ má.
