              Biblický text: Žalm 46
Tempo: 60

Hrad prepevný je Boh, náš Pán
a záštita vždy istá
s Ním smieme čeliť nástrahám
čo diabol verným chystá
Ten náš nepriateľ by nás zničiť chcel
len úskok, zvod klam namieril proti nám
niet mu v svete rovného

Moc naša vždy len slabá je
sme ľahko premožený
V kom nájdeme zdroj nádeje
kto prehru v triumf zmení?
Kto to môže byť, čo vie zachrániť?
Len Syn Boží sám, jediný Boh a Pán
on nakoniec zvíťazí

A hoc aj svet zla plný je
čo hrozí nám zánikom,
Pán mocne za nás bojuje
niet spásy v inom nikom
Hoc plán zákerný má nepriateľ zlý
vždy ho odrazí a slovne porazí
Boh, náš Pán všemohúci

Zla odpor už nič nezmôže
pred mocou jeho Slova
a zvody sveta premôže
len pravda Ježišova
Čo viac možno mať? Čo môžu nám vziať?
Nech kto, čo chce, má, nič to neznamená
Boh radosť večnú chystá
