              Hän ylösnousi.
Oi, riemua!
Kristus jo voitti.
Oi, autuutta!
Synti ja kuolo
on voimaton.
Hänessä meillä
nyt voitto on.

Hän ylösnousi,
ja vartijat
kauhuissaan
kaikki pakenevat.
Kivi on poissa,
tie vapaana
taivaaseen asti.
Oi, autuutta!

Hän ylösnousi.
Oi, riemua!
Maria, nyt on
syy iloita!
Hän, jota etsit,
sua kutsuvi.
Etkö jo tunne
Jeesustasi?

Hän ylösnousi!
Kaikkien luo
kiirehdä vieden
sanoma tuo!
Kyynelet pyyhi
Pietarilta,
anteeksi antaa
Mestarinsa.
