              Hľaď len na Ježiša,
spása je len v Ňom,
naplňuje srdce
šťastím, pokojom!
Niesol bolesť tvoju,
trpel za tvoj hriech,
hľaď len na Ježiša,
On ťa spasiť chce!

Hľaď len na Ježiša
v borbe, úzkosti,
keď si v ťažkom boji,
silu dáva ti!
Nepriateľ je mocný,
v tebe nieto síl.
Hľaď len na Ježiša,
v Ňom si zvíťazil!

Hľaď len na Ježiša
pokiaľ trvá deň,
kým sa nazdáš,
príde pokušenia tieň!
Mračná prídu ťažké,
zmiznú šťastné dni,
hľaď len na Ježiša,
On sa nemení!

Hľaď len na Ježiša,
aj keď pracuješ,
čo je odpočinok,
u Neho až zvieš!
Počuj, ako volá:
„Všetko schystal som."
Večne budeš živý
s Pánom Ježišom.
