              Güneşi taç yapıp başıma koysalar,
Altın olsa yıldızlar ellerime verseler,
Dünyayı halı diye ayağıma serseler,
"Çarmıhım yeter" deyip İsa'yı izlerim.

Bütün dünyanın bilgisini verseler,
"Güç ve kudret senindir" deseler,
Üstüne krallıklar vaat etseler,
"Çarmıhım yeter" deyip İsa'yı izlerim.

İstemem zenginlik, yücelik ve kudret,
Bunların hepsi Rab'bime aittir.
Ve ben de anladım sonsuz gerceği,
"Çarmıhım yeter" deyip İsa'yı izlerim.
