İyi bir çobanın hikayesi bu, açın yüreklerinizi,
Hiç bir kuzusunu ardında bırakmayan çoban.
O bizim için canını feda eden,
O bizim için tüm lanetleri üstlenen.

İyi çobanım benim, hiç bir eksiğim olmaz
Yemyeşil çayırlarda yatırır içimi tazeler.

Kötülükten korkmam ben çünkü sen yanımdasın,
Başıma yağ sürer beni sevginle kucaklarsın.
Korkmam çünkü sen her zaman benimlesin
Korkmam çünkü ben hep evinde olacağım

İyi çobanım benim hiç bir eksiğim olmaz
Yemyeşil çayırlarda yatırır içimi tazeler.

Geldi ve göründü bize, Tanrının kuzusu
Bize kendini gösterdi hemde babayı.
O günahsız bir kuzu, Tanrı kuzusuydu
Hiç bir suçu olmadan kanını akıttı.

İyi çobanım benim hiç bir eksiğim olmaz
Yemyeşil çayırlarda yatırır içimi tazeler
