              1. Já pro tebe jsem mřel,
krev svou za tebe dal.
Jak být bys vděčný měl,
že jsem to vykonal.
Já svůj jsem život položil,
co ty jsi učinil?
Ze smrti jsem tě vyprostil,
zda jsi to pochopil?

2. Můj příchod z nebe sem,
ten nebyl marností.
Já z lásky zřekl jsem
se nebes radosti,
pro tebe chudobným se stal,
bych bohatství ti dal.
Teď pověz, co ty dát mi chceš,
co v oběť přineseš.

3. Já s bolestí jsem zřel
tu velkou bídu tvou
a v srdci pohnut, šel
ti podat ruku svou.
Pro tebe jsem to vykonal,
bys v hříchu nezůstal.
Dal jsem za tebe život svůj,
co dáš mi, uvažuj.
