              Jézus, köszöntlek, itt a reggel,
A Nap benéz az ablakomon.
Jézus, köszöntlek, itt a reggel,
Légy velem ezen a mai napon!

Ahogy a nap ragyogja fényed vissza
  s a madarak énekelnek,
  úgy ragyogjak és daloljak rólad!

Jézus, köszöntlek, itt a reggel,
ahogy Te köszöntesz kedvesen,
mert fényed kiárad minden helyre,
s szereteted átölel.
