              Ja poznám zdroj šťastia,
ja poznám zdroj síl,
viem smrťou kto platil,
ja aby som žil: Pán Ježiš,
môj zmierca a nebeský Kráľ,
On na kríži za mňa
sa obetoval.

On bezpečne vedie ma
v tieni i tmách,
mi pomáha v boji
a premáha strach. On prevedie
iste aj súžením zlým,
aj do neba dôjdem
len v jednote s ním.

  Tam na druhom brehu,
  kde svieti On sám,
  ja poctu a chválu
  mu v pokore vzdám.
  Už na veky vekov
  tam ostanem s ním,
  keď k výšinám zaletím
  ku nebeským.
