Ja si spievam deň čo deň,
doma vonku všade len:
Božia milosť pevný hrad,
v pokušení v trápení,
Božia moc sa nemení,
Božia milosť pevný hrad.

V pokušení, v trápení,
Pán Boh milosťou nezmení,
Božia milosť pevný hrad.
Vlastnej sily málo mám,
na Neho sa len spolieham,
Božia milosť pevný hrad.

Prečo smútok, prečo žiaľ,
keď je so mnou Pán, môj kráľ?
Božia milosť pevný hrad.
Jeho lásku šíriť chcem,
všade vôkol deň čo deň,
Božia milosť pevný hrad.

  Božia milosť pevný hrad,
  Boh je mocný zachovať.
  V slnka žiare a či v tôni,
  Božia milosť pevný hrad.
