              Ja Teba musím mať,
ó, Pane môj!
Len Ty mi môžeš dať
mier vzácny svoj.

  Mať Teba musím, Pane!
  Dvíham k Tebe dlane.
  Nech čokoľvek sa stane,
  som navždy Tvoj!

Ty stráž ma deň čo deň,
buď blízko mňa!
Boj s diablom zvládne len
moc víťazná.

Keď príde skúšky čas,
deň žalosti,
ja nájdem v Tebe zas
zdroj milosti.

Mne stále žiari tmou
svit nádeje,
že svieca Tvojich slov
ma povedie.
