              Je sais bien qui nous aima tant
Que de mourir à notre place ;
Qui veut que le cœur repentant
Par sa mort puisse trouver grâce :
C'est Jésus, le Libérateur,
C'est le Sauveur !
C'est le Sauveur !

Il était servi dans le ciel
Par les anges, comme le Père ;
Mais, dans son amour éternel,
Il voulut vivre sur la terre,
Et devenir pour le pécheur
Parfait Sauveur !
Parfait Sauveur !

Il devint homme, et par sa mort
Opéra le salut du monde.
Sa croix a changé notre sort ;
En Lui pour tous, la grâce abonde ;
Il est devenu du pécheur
Le seul Sauveur,
Le seul Sauveur !
