              Je to tá stará viera,
je to tá stará viera,
je to tá stará viera,
ona všetkým postačí.

Stačila našim matkám,
stačila našim matkám,
stačila našim matkám,
ona všetkým postačí.

Dala moc otcom našim,
dala moc otcom našim,
dala moc otcom našim,
ona všetkým postačí.

Prorokom bola silou,
prorokom bola silou,
prorokom bola silou,
ona všetkým postačí.

Skúšaná bola ohňom,
skúšaná bola ohňom,
skúšaná bola ohňom,
ona všetkým postačí.

Dovedie nás do neba,
dovedie nás do neba,
dovedie nás do neba,
ona všetkým postačí.

Je to tá stará viera,
spoľahlivá a istá,
viera v Ježiša Krista,
ona všetkým postačí.
