              Jeesuksen tähden
nouskaa,
te ristin sotilaat,
Kuninkaan lippujoukot
ja rivit voitokkaat!
Herramme
johtaa meitä
voitosta voittohon.
Jo sortuu vihollinen,
nyt Kristus Herra on.

Jeesuksen tähden
nouskaa!
Nyt taistoon kutsutaan
ja Herran
teitä käymään,
yön vallat voittamaan.
Jos vihollinen riehuu,
niin kaikki pelko pois.
On kanssas Immanuel,
ken kaataa sinut vois?

Jeesuksen tähden
nouskaa
ja yksin voimassaan!
Ei auta oma voima,
ei joukon suuruuskaan,
vaan tartu
Hengen miekkaan
rukoillen, valvoen.
Nyt velvollisuus kutsuu
ja vaara sielujen.
