Jesus ble født i en stall
uten ære og prakt.
Men Han er konge i dag,
er den som har all makt.

  Kor:
Jesus er stor, Jesus er stor!
  Han har beseiret det onde.
Ja, det er kraft i Hans Ord,
  Jesus Kristus er stor.

Ofte gikk Jesus omkring,
lægte de syke Han så.
Tenk at Han lever i dag,
og er den samme nå.

Frivillig ga Han sitt liv
og tok straffen på seg.
Overvant mørke og grav,
åpnet til Him'len vei.
